A relationship is a continuum of emotions. From adoring parents to stern taskmasters, supportive cheerleaders to confidants with a deep well of patience, the relationship between son and parent is one that evolves endlessly with time. It’s impossible to describe this sort of relationship in pictures, and yet, I try. As my visual language skills improved throughout my adulthood, I set out to describe the full spectrum of my feeling for my parents in photographs, sometimes with humor, sometimes with reverence, sometimes with sadness, but always with love.
